NOMINATIONS INSPIRATION

The nomination stage is a great way for students to say what they like to read. It’s also an opportunity to broaden their awareness, knowledge and appreciation of Australian children’s literature. The nomination stage can sometimes be challenging for students to generate their own lists: Is it Australian? Has it won before? Is it less than 10 years old?

To keep the shortlists fresh and share what is eligible, the following lists and resources can be useful when displaying and promoting the nomination stage in your Library.
